As a guest on a racing yacht amongst a 20 strong fleet, the rules of yacht racing can appear baffling at first.

The Solwey Challenge has prepared this introduction to racing in order to explain some of the basics. Starting with the most important (and outwardly confusing) area of who has right of way in particular situations.
